Cash Instalment Plan

To apply for a Cash Instalment Plan, you must be the primary cardholder of an HSBC credit card.
Cash Instalment Plan is not applicable to USD cards and corporate cards. 

How we calculate your minimum payment due

Your minimum payment due consists of:

• 100% of the monthly instalment amount for each Cash Instalment and Spend Instalment plan you hold, if any
• 100% of any interest, late fees, annual credit card fees and 'over limit' fees charged to your account
• 1% of your outstanding balance less the amounts mentioned above
• the excess amount above your credit limit if your account is 'over limit', or SGD50 (in your account's currency), whichever is greater

If your total outstanding balance is less than SGD50 (in your account's currency), your minimum payment amount will be your total outstanding balance.

How we'll allocate the payment we receive

We'll assign the payment we receive from you in this order:

1. Instalments for each Cash Instalment and Spend Instalment plan you hold, if any
2. Interest charges
3. Late fees
4. Annual credit card fees
5. 'Over limit' fees
6. Service charges (such as cash advance fees)
7. Transactions charged to your account

We'll also apply payments to the balance categories from the highest to the lowest interest rate, after clearing the minimum payment. If the interest rate is the same across the categories, we'll apply payments to the oldest amounts first.
