Starting 21 June 2024, your HSBC Visa Platinum Credit Card will be known as HSBC Live+ Credit Card.

The HSBC Visa Platinum Credit Card Quarterly Cash Rebate Programme will continue to apply to your card till 30 September 2024. Starting 1 October 2024, the HSBC Visa Platinum Credit Card Quarterly Cash Rebate Programme will cease to apply to your card, and you will enjoy a refreshed suite of benefits with the new HSBC Live+ Credit Card Quarterly Cashback Programme.

Key Dates and Changes

Please find the key dates and details of the changes below.

From 21 June 2024, your HSBC Visa Platinum Credit Card starting with 492160 will be known as HSBC Live+ Credit Card, and this new name will be reflected in your HSBC Singapore App, Online Banking and credit card statements.
You and your supplementary cardholders (if any) can continue to use your existing physical HSBC Visa Platinum Credit Card(s).
We will send you a new physical HSBC Live+ Credit Card when your existing HSBC Visa Platinum Credit Card is due for renewal, or when you request for a replacement of your physical card. If you wish for us to send you a new physical Live+ Credit Card ahead of your renewal date, please refer to the steps below.
The HSBC Visa Platinum Credit Card Quarterly Cash Rebate Programme will continue to apply to your credit card till 30 September 2024.
From 1 October 2024, the HSBC Visa Platinum Credit Card Quarterly Cash Rebate Programme will cease to apply to your credit card, and the HSBC Live+ Credit Card Quarterly Cashback Programme will apply to your credit card; regardless of whether you have received or requested for a new physical HSBC Live+ Credit Card. To request for a new physical Live+ Credit Card ahead of your renewal date

If you would like to request for a new physical HSBC Live+ Credit Card prior to the renewal date of your existing HSBC Visa Platinum Credit Card, please send an SMS using your mobile number registered with HSBC to 74722 by 31 July 2024, in the following format:

LIVE<space>Last 4 alphanumeric characters of your NRIC (for Singaporeans and PRs) or Passport Number

(e.g. LIVE 123A)

After we receive your SMS, we will send a new physical HSBC Live+ Credit Card to each of you and your supplementary cardholders (if any) by 31 August 2024, based on your registered mailing address in our records.
The new HSBC Live+ Credit Card(s) that will be issued to you and your supplementary cardholders (if any) will have the same 16-digit credit card number(s) as the existing HSBC Visa Platinum Credit Card(s).
The existing HSBC Visa Platinum Credit Card(s) held by you and your supplementary cardholders (if any) will continue to be active until you activate your respective new HSBC Live+ Credit Card(s).
All outstanding balances, credit balances and standing instructions in respect of each existing HSBC Visa Platinum Credit Card will automatically be transferred to the new HSBC Live+ Credit Card upon card activation.
You will continue to enjoy an annual fee of SGD36 (excluding GST) in respect of your new HSBC Live+ Credit Card.

Frequently asked questions

All transactions that are not listed as exclusions count towards your minimum spend requirement for earning rebates. You can find the full list of exclusions in the quarterly cash rebate programme terms and conditions (PDF). If you're using HSBC Spend Instalments, only your initial total purchase amount will be eligible in the purchase month. Subsequent instalment amounts will not qualify.

Your rebates will be posted to your credit card account within 2 months after the end of each quarter. For example, if you spent on eligible purchases in your rebate categories between October and December (the fourth quarter), your rebates will be posted to your account by 28 February in the following year.

Important information and links

Your credit limit

Your credit limit is subject to our review and approval. Where you've stated a preferred credit limit, the amount we grant may be lower than what you requested.

Finance charges

A finance charge will be imposed based on the amount withdrawn, from the date the transaction is posted to your account to the date the payment is made in full or the next statement date, whichever is earlier.

Effective rate: 27.8% p.a. (minimum)

Minimum charge: SGD2.50

Annual fee

We'll waive your annual fee for the first 2 years, starting from the issue date for your credit card. From the third year onwards, we'll waive the annual fee for your card if you spend more than SGD12,500 with it per year.
